What is new in this release?
The long awaited version of Aspose.Cells for .NET 7.5.3 . This month?s release includes an enhancement for reading and writing page setup options in HTML files. We have also made several enhancements for rendering, manipulating and refreshing PivotTables. We have fixed a few exceptions when reading and writing Excel files and manipulating PivotTables in a template file. In this release, several important issues have been addressed. For example, issues around rendering Excel files, rendering and manipulating PivotTables, rendering image files, converting Excel files to HTML/MTHML file format and exporting to PDF have been resolved. Issues pertaining to the formula calculation engine have also been fixed.We have made a few enhancements in Aspose.Cells for .NET?s web-based Grid control. For example, GridWeb now includes more features and attributes in the undo operation. We have fixed an issue regarding freeze panes in IE10 in GridWeb. We have also improved performance regarding formulas calculation in Aspose.Cells for .NET?s desktop-based Grid control when working with bigger Excel files which have lots of formulas. This release includes few enhanced features and plenty of bug fixes as listed below
- Support reading and writing Page Setup options of HTML file format
- Add more attributes and enhancements to Undo operation (inserting cell values, editing values etc. are supported in Undo)
- Errors and formatting issues in the generated PDF are fixed
- Black background is fixed when merging/adding sheets in the output PDF format
- Conversion to specific XLS to PDF format is enhanced
- Output TIF image is now corrected
- Converting Excel to MHTML issue(s) is resolved
- Left cell overlaps into the right cell is fixed (XLS to HTML conversion)
- Right- to-Left problem in saving as HTML or MHT file format is fixed
- Conditional formatting is enhanced when saving workbook as HTML format
- Pivot table seems to be using the cell?s Bold setting when converting to PDF file format is now fixed
- Pivot table headers in compact form is using the header from Tabular/Outline form
- Pivot table headers with the wrong color in PDF format is fixed
- Subtotal entry in Pivot table is now in corrected column in the output PDF
- Calculated fields are now calculated if the source worksheet is removed
- Item label filters to only display ?TRUE? items is fixed and now working in the converted PDF file
- Day of week order is corrected in the output PDF format
- Calculated field is now working / calculating correctly in Pivot tables
- Repeat item labels Pivot table setting is now used in the converted PDF
- Pivot table shows ?#DIV/0!? in value columns that are set to Average, AVERAGEIF formulas
- XLS file will not open without errors after removing Ole objects
- Saving XLSX file results in unreadable content
- Page Setup issue / problem which results in corrupted file
- Array formulas do not retain references to columns in the same table
- Corrupt files are fixed when merging workbooks
- COUNTIFS formula is now calculated correctly when converting to PDF
- Freeze panes feature is now working properly in IE10 (GridWeb)
- Issue is resolved with Clear Content of rows in Aspose.Cells.GridDesktop
