Reading OCR from per file

Hi, I'm new to Vb and this post, sorry if I have posted in the wrong section of it. Does anyone know if there is a way to read OCR Characters in a pdf file using Vb?

Sorry I have misspelled pdf. Is this a question that should be on a different section of the post or nobody knows how to do it?
