Question from Newbie - Error after put menu control

Dear All,
I'm a newbie to the smart device development. I'm trying to make simple hello world app. It works fine if I don't put a menu to my app. As soon as I put menu ctrl it throws a exception when I try to run my app in emulator. Please help me.
