query in datagrid

hii
in my form i have one combobox
when i am selecting any item in the combobox ,that item related data is being displayed in the datagrid
my query is
when i click any item in combobox ,the item in the combobox is disappered and that item related data is displayed in the grid
i want the item to be appeared while displaying data in the grid
hope my query is cleat
