Problem with the email notification feature?

THis morning I had 8 new mails from VBDNF:

Reply to post 'not to sure? updating question'
Reply to post 'Registry monitoring'
Reply to post 'Can not open Project .sln file'
Reply to post 'not to sure? updating question'
Reply to post 'MsgBox wont show in front of TopMost form?'
Reply to post 'Context menu for a borderless form'
Reply to post 'not to sure? updating question'
Reply to post 'Can not open Project .sln file'


What im curious to know is, howcome I have 2 or 3 emails for a thread I'd posted in once? I thought the next notification would only come after I made another post?

The notification says:

There may be other replies also, but you will not receive any more notifications until you visit the forum again.

That means if you re-visit the subscribed thread and there is made another post, you will get a new notification (until you don't visit again or unsubscribe)

I wasnt aware that I had re-visited.. Thats why I was curious!

When I think about it I'm not too sure if they mean "visit the forum" or the subscribed thread specifically.. can't recollect noticing this behaviour either way before. I thought it was visiting the subscribed thread, because I perhaps "missed" some post notifications before, but may be wrong.
