Problem in file creation when multiple files is in processing.....

i have written a program that invokes 25 exes at a time ,those exes each opens a file(all files are distinct) at a time and write some processing data in another file named exe's name+_+ddMMyyyy+Now mod 4. in this situation i am facing a problem some exes fall in processing state with a file but its status remain in processing state for a long time(i dont see what happen at last.i just kill that process) and the major thing is this is not creating any file named "exe's name+_+ddMMyyyy+Now mod 4 " where it will write the data. But when i stop and restart the program then that exe works fine and create that file.
Please hepl me out...........
