I've created a setup project for my application. In the prerequisites
I have, among other things, .Net Framework 2.0 checked. I also have
"Download prerequisites from the same location as my application"
selected.
My understanding was that if the latter was selected, then the needed
files would be added to .msi file and when the application is
installed any required file would be installed from the setup file,
not the internet. But this doesn't seem to be the case. When running
the install on an XP computer, other than the computer that was used
for creating the project, the installation fails and says that .Net
2.0 must be installed. Any suggestions?
Is Dotnetfx.exe automatically added to the .msi file?
