Recommended resources for learning VB.NET

I'm looking for some guidance on which resources, books and internet, I can use to get from my basic understanding of VB.NET to a more complete and thorough understanding of design patterns, multithreading, and more advanced stuff like that.

In another thread here someone suggested Wrox Press Professional VB.Net which by the description on Amazon sounds perfect but it is a bit dated and with the .NET Library v2 coming out soon I don't want something too outdated.

Any suggestions would help immensly.

Thanks.

I'm not sure if there are any 2.0 books out yet (not seen any).
I'd recomend MS press; vb.net cookbook.

Go with the cookbook then.
