passing an array from the vb backend & display it in aspx frontend

hello I am very new at this, and I am trying self-teach myself. the task I'm trying to accomplish is:
I have an array stored in the VB back-end. and I want the elements to display in a submenu dynamically in the asp frontend. how do i go about do this?

Please give more information ... is it Desktop application? Why you need to use executable for storing information to be used in ASP.NET web form?
