How to open docs from asp.net using VB language

Hi im doing my final year project and im stuck on this coding..

How to open word doc or with file extension such as jpg, doc, ppt, pdf from asp.net using vb language.

Eg: I searched for a pdf file, when I clicked on the hyperlink, it will automatic open the pdf file.

Can I know how to solve this??

Simply add a hyperlink for the location and name of the file you want to open ...
