Migrating from access/vb6 to sql/vb.net

Its a simple access/vb6 app but Im wondering what would be the best way to migrate my project to sql/.net which Im not very familiar with.

Specifically Im wondering if you can bind queries to forms in vb.net like you can in Access or link one element on a form to another etc. I imagine you could if you were working with access databases but because I want to use sql Im thinking this wont be an easy migration.

You wil find a lot of similarities, and I think you will find vb.net to be a fair bit easier.

However, migration I fear will not be a good way to do this.

I think your best approach is to start again from scratch.
