Location of the Webservice

Hi There,

I've got a program that uses an webservice.

The problem that I have got now is that if the webservice is relocated (other ip-adress) I've got to recompile the dll with the wsdl.exe-tool.

Is there an other way to do something like that?

I would like to create an textbox on my configuration-form where I just can fill in de the right ip-adress and that my program gets the right webservice.

Can anyone help me?

yes you can set the URL property of the service.

example

Dim service as new localhost.Service1
service.URL = http://192.168.1.1/Service1.asmx
