Question Load an RTF into an RTB Control from Resources

I'm trying to load a file into the RTB from the resources because I really don't want the file to be edited by the average Joe, but I'm having trouble referencing the file into the RTB.LoadFile() method. Is there any way to do this? I found the tutorial in the help files, but they use a path from an OpenFile dialog...

The bottom line is I need subscripts in text. If there is no way to do the 'load file' thing, is there any way to put subscripts in? As in Side_{side A}?

Bah!

My rtf magically transformed into a txt file file full of jibberish! I gueass the resource method won't work. Any ideas?

By "jibberish" you probably mean the RTF codes. For the RTB control you can set the Rtf/SelectedRtf properties instead of Text/SelectedText properties to assign RTF encoded text.
The LoadFile/SaveFile methods has a fileType parameter where you can choose plain/rich text format.

To test, I created a RichTextFile (named RichText.rtf) and dragged it to my Resources. Created a form with a RichTextBox control (RichTextBox1) and a button (cmdLoadRichText). Added this code for the button's event handler:

The RichTextFile had subscripts and superscripts and the RichTextBox displayed the file correctly.
