list of connections in an Access db

i'm trying to list the machines connected to an Access database

i know how to do this in VBA on the openschema method of an ADODB.Connection

i can see vb.net will be System.Data.OleDb and OleDbConnection

but, i'm at a loss as how to go thought the connections

i can see the getschema method, but all of the parameters don't seem to be applicable

any help would be great
