Key detection

Is there any way in a web form on a text box to detect which key is being pressed.

Basically I have a text box and can only allow 2 digit hex values in there.

Numbers aren't a problem but I have to stop g-z and G-Z from being entered.

I suggest you just convert them all to uppercase first (or lowercase) and then do the processing
