Is it easy to translate a stand alone vb.net software to asp.net

i am new here and I am seeking your expert opinion about migrating a software coded in Vb.Net to Asp.Net.Will such a process take long to complete?

That depends on how large and complex the application is.

Either way you'll need to completely redesign the UI part of the app.
