importing sql data to Excel

Hi

I want to import a table from my sql db into Excel. I know it's Data->import External Data->Import Data -
I'm having difficulty beyond this point - is it connect to new sql database server - and how do I find the server name?

You may have to create an ODBC data source to your SQL Server and then use that to import the data using the import data feature in excel.
