IDE Behavior Changes

Somehow, the behavior of my IDE has changed as follows: it will only let me have one class in project open at a time. I used to be able to have multiple classes open as separate tabs. I must of inadvertently changed a parameter, but we here can't seem to find what it is. TIA.

Check the options in VS.NET to see if you have the MDI configuration setup.

I have the tabbed document button selected. Have tried MDI and know I don't want that. More clearly stating the issue: I can only see the Start Page Tab, the Object browser tab and only 1 class tab. If I switch to editing another class, instead of opening a second class tab it overlays the first class tab with the most recently opened class. Any additional thoughts ?

Options,environment,documents,Re-use current document window, if saved - is checked maybe.
