Question how to subtract today's date from the expiry date in the database??

i want a message to appear once a product is just 1 month before expiry date, every product has its own expiry date stored in a table in the database, so how can i do that?

Once you've got the expiry date:

If expiryDate < Date.Today.AddMonths(1) Then
    'The expiry date is less than one month away.
End If
