Alrighty, once a program is installed (properly - not through some homemade installation program which leaves no trace) it is displayed under Add/Remove Programs. Now, the question is: how can you determine the installation path (where all the executables were placed) of an application? I'm guessing there's a registry entry somewhere or there's a file someplace which keeps track of these things.
I've kinda guessed the following: somewhere, either in the registry or the Windows folders, there's an entry or file which tracks what components are currently installed and the location of their uninstall entry/file. I dont if this is true but if it is then does anyone know what entry/file does this?
In any case, thanks for your time. I'm gonna do some more searching and see what happens.
