How do you create a search box

Hi,

My names chris I am very new to Visual Basic 2008 and do not know how to create a search form.


I have one form with a text box named txtSearch and a command button named CMDSearch. I have another form called IV and I want to search for a record based on that text box. Any suggestions?

I have done it in microsoft access but the code is not the same as microsoft accesses.

I need help.

Click DW2 link in ym signature, click box in top right to make .NET 3 specific. have a read for a section, probably called something like "Creating a form to search data"
