How do we skip the uninstall step

Hello all,

When I need to reinstall the application, how can I set the setup.exe to overwrite the previous version so that I don't have to unstall the previous version before installing the new version.

Please help.

I don't see a reason why you would not be able to reinstall the app. Have you tried at all?

Yes, I did try it. Setup returns a message saying that I need to uninstall the previous version first.

Actually, I am using windows 2000 professional. So, is there a way to configure vb.net deployment to overwrite the old version?
