how do i get a box to follow a line

I need to get a little box to follow a line that the user can draw onto a .JPG. Can anyone tell me how i would go about doing this.

Do you have a jpg shown in a pictureBox and you want the use to be able to draw a line onto it with the cursor being a box? Please explain further.

Hi,

I'm working on a Railway Simulation game which uses Aerial Photographs as backgrounds and on which I will need to draw tracks over which simple coloured box graphics representing the trains will travel.
