Hello, this is my 1st. thread, and I'm coming with a question to all the gurus out there. 
This question is related to a small project for my University.
I have to access 4 specific pins from the LPT1 port, to be exact, pins 2, 3, 4 and 5. Those pings belongs to the Data Register Area. I have to send them a 5V (five volts) charge by using a small program (like the 1 is being shown below) or what would be the same, send them a "1". I may need to access all of them or just one, two or three of them.

The objetive of the proyect to convert a Binary number to Decimal. I have already builded the circuit. I'm just needing the program, therefore, I need to know what function I need to use to send to those specific pins a "1". Its syntaxis, handling and whatever additional information I could need to complete this assigment.
Therefore any additional information, that could be handy for me in this project.
