Help w/ psuedo control arrays

I have several buttons(named btnNote1...btnNote2...btnNote3...etc) that I want to loop though using something akin to:
for i = 1 to blah.count
btnNote(i).enabled = true
next

Is this possible?. I'm sure I remember doing something like this in Vb.net before and while I realize there are no longer control arrays I don't remember how to do it in .Net.
