Help new with SQL and ADO.NEt

Hello everyone,

I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I need some help if you please.
I am a new visual basic.NET programmer, and I have to work on SQL data bases, I searched a lot to read about ADO.NET and how to connect to the data base, with no avail. If you have any articles about this subject, anything at all, it will be much appreciated.
