We are about to undertake a large project and need a third party map control.
The mapping tool will need to resolve addresses from postcodes, longitudes and latitudes and also be able find addresses from company names and postcodes etc. It will also need to plot routes between places and give shortest distance between the two. It will also need to be able to store the locations of companies on the map and be able to give me a list of the 10 ten closest companies to a certain point on a map.
I am looking for advice on the best mapping tool to use, we are going to write a windows based VB.NET v3.5 application.
