help for project??

hi all, i have this problem:
i have a htm-file, with some results(in form of lines,manyyy), look like this

' 21 XXX YYY R.kklMN.K + Methyl(or ethyla,Metho..) '

.
what i want, is to search for " Meth " string then if the line comprised this, then copy this line into a new file.
ahh, behind every colored number in this ex. 21 hide a pop up window (show with

      onmouseout=clearEl()

what does doing exactly this code??
and there is also a number what i have to catch also,
so this are 2 problems but i ll be happy for any help.
