It's always interesting to see software companies really take off to where you tell yourself "I wish I would have thought of that." There are also companies you would have never thought would turn into what they have now.
What are some of your "Gee I wish I would have thought of that companies?" Now let's not be unreal here, i.e. Microsoft! Realistically, who has really stood out to you?
One I'm impressed with how far they've taken a product is TechSmith. The makers of SnagIT, a great screen capture utility, Camtasia for creating video presentations, and more. They just announced their new screencast.com for hosting videos and they just keep doing a great job time after time in their marketing and offerings. They are truly a success story!
