Thanks John. I saw this link once and tried to download it. It says it is a zip file, but it downloads as a .php file. Am I doing something wrong?

Try again. Zip is ok, so is forum. Both clicking the attachment link and using context menu and 'Save As' works as intended.

I think it is because I was on a mac when I tried it. I will go to my PC and try. I let you know how the code goes. Thanks!

Moved these posts to Forum Bug report. I've not heard any Mac complains about forum software before, and is not in possession of such testing facility myself. You can't do .Net on Mac?

I think mac handle compressed files differently. I have a couple at home that I use. I usually just save things to my flash drive and take it to my PC. This is the only time I have seen the bug.

I have had this happen to me many times while using FireFox (on a windows machine) on this site and others. I'm not exactly sure what's happening but I suppose the files I was trying to download are being fetched by a php script and instead of executing the php script, the file is served instead.

i have the problem with firefox here, however the downloaded php file i simply rename to the filename that it was supposed to be then it works just fine, so the file is downloaded correctly, it's just that firefox gives it the name 'attachment.php' instead of 'demo.zip'
