Question forms within form got/change focus

I have 1 form with about 5 other forms added into it. How can I check which form the user is currently on. I have tried using gotfocus for the 5 forms within, but it doesn't work. is there another way of seeing when focus has changed within the form?

Are you talking about an MDI application? Have you set the IsMdiContainer property of the parent to True? If so, the ActiveMdiChild is the property you want.

ah, yes thats what I needed! However none of the child windows ever become active now. (when i click in them or move them, the title bars are stilled greyed as if they are inactive)
