Facing problem in connection sql client with server

I am facing problem in connecting sql client2005 with sql server2005. Can any body help me.Thanks.

When I connect sql server2005 client with sql server2005 server connection failed.Can Any body tell me the installation procedure of sql server2005 client.
I shall be very thankfull to him.Thanks

Make sure Windows Firewall is open on the client machine for SQL traffic which is defaulted to port 1433. If your DBA has changed the default port, you will need to use the same port he uses.

Make sure that SQL server allows remote connection. I think your best bet is to talk to your DBA or SysAdmin guy to get this issue resolved.
