Extracting one image out of Icon collection

An icon (.ico file) can hold multiple size and color resolutions of images. How can I pick one image, say the 32x32 256-color image within? Or how can I iterate the available images to see what it has then choose from the best available option?

Thanks vis... wow, that's some serious code to get this job done! Sure would be nice if .NET made this easier on us!
