Error while Trying to open EXE

can any one please let me know why this error occurs??

I have Microsoft .NET Framework SDK v1.1 installed in my mahcine and i am trying to run exe

The issues is

Common Language Runtime Debugging service is the error dialog name

Application has generated an exception that could not be handled -- is the message

can any one throw ight on this...

is the application made to run on the 1.0/1.1 framework or the 2.0 framework

also you can have the 1.1 framework and the 2.0 framework installed on the same computer at the same time too

Still not able to open application...

I installed .NET framework 1.1 in another machine ,using remote desktop opening up IE in that machine.

Will this effect?? I think no

is the application that you're trying to run made in the 2.0 framework or the 1.1 framework? my guess is the application was made in the 2.0 framework and you're installing the wrong version, which is why it's not working

without more details, that's the best reasoning i can think of

posting a picture of the error message would also help
