error when adding forigen key (table or view does not exist)

i try to add forigen key to my table and the table that contain the primary key that i will relate to is already present but !! it gives me error message when executing it

"table or view does not exist vendor code 942"

any help?

I am going to need a lot more information than just that. With what application are you trying to add the foreign key. SQL Server? Through Code? Through A query? MS Access? MySQL? A third party application?
