Error Required field validator

I dont know why am getting the error, "Control to validate of RequiredfieldValidator2 cannot be left blank" The funny thing is that I don not have such control on my web form. Please what do I do???

Well the error implies that you actually have such control.
Maybe it's not on the current page but somewhere in the project it must be.
Ctrl+F is your best bet
