error event log is full

Hi there...
I just install vs 2008(visual basic 2008) and sql express 2008
and I try to create my first project I have I trouble
when I try to add data base from add new item in project menu. error messge appear "Even Log is full". and now I can't create database..
Please help me... cos i'm new in visual basic 2008. I use to use vb 6

Most likely your Event Log is full, and you need to clear it or configure it for bigger size or overwrite. Enter Event Log from Control Panel Administration.
