Question .duo file extension

anyone knows about this file extension? it is related to ms access... maybe similar to .dat file extension? any explanations?

the reason why im asking for this.. i encounter this one program in which he uses .duo and .dat file extension as a connection to database or it was a converted access database... i want to rip my hair because i cant understand why he uses this kind of extension which i cant google or anything...

If you can't find it in places like this File-Extensions.org - File extension library then it's a good indication it is a custom file extension, which content can be anything, text or binary.

Open the file with a hex editor and look at it. Then open an access database with a hex editor and look at it..
