Ok, let me first introduce my project a bit to let you know what I want to do, I'm creating a F1 manager game in VB.net (and msAccess db), sow just tekstbased but there is just one thing I really don't know how to start with, sow maybe someone can give me some advice
sow the thing I have problems with is the race screen, I want a race screen of all 22 cars and a button to go to the next lap, sow, I found a way to calculate the time, but that's only for times under 60seconds, cause I don't know how to calculate with times, that's the first problem, the other problem is passing
when someone is 2 sec behind the next driver and he drives 3 secs faster, he should be passed him, that's the easy way, but in fact a driver can't overtake everytime he's faster, sometimes he is a fewk laps behind a slower driver until he can pass him, sow if the driver is .5 sec to 0.1 sec behind a car (less would be impossibel) he will stay behind that car untill he gets passed and laps not faster than the other car because it's in the way
I just don't know how to start on such a screen, I was thinking of a datagridview, but I can't see how to do it with the overtaking
