Dictionary check

I need a fast way to check if a word exists in the English language.

Your application would need access to an English dictionary then. There's nothing inherent in .NET that will do it for you. You could provide your own, or you could use Word Automation to use the Office spell checker if you know that Word will be installed, or you could use some online site or service like Dictionary.com.

I found a dictionary file, but it is really slow looping through it. It has words padded to 10 bytes with zeros. What would be the fastest way to loop through this?
