Detecting Visual fox pro newline character

HI All,
I am currently reading off of a visual fox pro data base(peopleware). When I grap the memo fields I do not get the formating that is originally in the fields. Basically I get all the data in one paragraph instead of many. I have tried searching the string for '/n' but had no luck there. Any ideas on what the newline character would be?

Doh found the solution just had to compare using vbCrLf.
