Udner VB6.0 there was a varible that you could use to shortcut to the
application directory, when calling files and etc. What is it called in VB.NET??

Assuming that you are running a WinForms app it is Application.StartupPath for the prgram folder and Application.ExecutablePath for the EXE itself.

That depends what you mean exactly with "application directory".
Check Application.StartUpPath and other members of the Application Class.
