Custom action

I am want to create a custom action to install a windows service after my main application has been installed. Can anyone please offer some help on how i can go about doing this.

Any code which will help or point me in the right direction will be will be appreciated.

Also is it possible to read from the bin directory of a windows service using the Application class.
