csv to dataset to xml question schema

Hello - I am reading a flatfile into a dataset and then writing the data out as an xml file. My question is: If I read a .xsd schema into the dataset will it validate the data read from the flatfile?

In as far as it will balk at bad data, yes! It might stop reading though..
