crystal report viewer hanging for large reports

Hello all,

I have a main form where user is allowed to choose the report for the
viewer.Then I send this file name to the child form where i open it in
the crystal report viewer.
This is the problem...if the report is too big, the screen gets locked
up...
I tried doing application.doevents in
childform.activate,childform.click,childform.enter and also
crviewer.enter,crviewer.click.

can anyone please me with this..

I am using vb.net 2003 and CR 9.1.5 version.

Gosh maybe you could try breaking your report down into sub
divisions...like i.e.

Report for Company A, Division 1
Company A, Division 2

In other words multiple smaller reports.
