Hey, I just started as a programmer fresh from school and my first project is to create a datagrid pull the information from the table and for each student they have an icon to track thier progress. They want me to create a layer ontop of this datagrid and be able to move these icons to show parents where the student track record should be. I dont expect people to program for me (cause i wont be able to edit the damn thing lol) but all im looking for is if it's possible to create this kind of layer in VB.net 2008 with asp.net and what would it be called. Been trying to look on the net so many times and didnt find exactly what i was looking for. So if anyone can help I would be extremly Thankfull.
