CREATE TABLE and place values of existing table in created table

Hi

Can anyone tell me why this query doesn't work in access?

CREATE TABLE student2 SELECT * FROM student

It works just fine in mySQL

I found the way to do it in access

SELECT * INTO routingpoint200 FROM routingpoint;
