Components and Session Variables

Hello,

I am trying to use a Session variable within a component which connects to a data base. The select SQL references a Session Variable populated in I prior form. The value does not carry to the component where I try to use it as a resriction on the Select SQL so the application falls over when the component is executed.

Any help would be apprediated,

you can't access the session directly you need to access it through the current context

httpContext.current.session("...")
