Can a dll developed for the .NET compact framework to work on a mobile device work without modification on the full .NET framework in a windows forms app? i would think it should but cannot find a definitive answers.

What happened when you tested it for yourself?

it worked on the simple test i did, but i was wondering if it would for every aspect of the Compact framework

I've never tried it so, if it worked for you, there's no specific technical impediment. As far as I am aware the CF should be a subset of the full Framework but if there is anything that is CF-specific then you would encounter an issue. I'm aware of any functionality that is CF-specific but that doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. In short, I can't give you a definitive answer, so you're no closer than you were before I posted.
