CE.NET data access with data adapter.

is it possable to connexct to a cdb database using the data adapter? all my data icons are unavailable when iu develop for smart device. is there any way to create a db by code? any suggestions greatly appreciated

Mobile Database

Their is the avaialbility of SQL Mobile for the pocket pc which will give you a strong engine and the ability to do quit a bit -- check the MSDN websight.

In generally the Compact Framework does not support Pocket Access Databases (cdb), instead SQLCE is free to use and it is far superior to cdb.

But if you need to access an Pocket Access Databases (cdb) you need to use a 3rd party tool (http://www.inthehand.com/ADOCE.aspx)
